If you live under a rock, you might not have heard, but for the last several months our favorite music serving internet radio station has been working on a HTML5 friendly interface.

If you have read any of our post, you will know that we like to jam to our favorite songs while writing various posts, but hate to deal with flash. One way we have dealt with that is using the CLI program "Pianobar". Pianobar is a great little app, but isn't exactly user friendly, especially for those of us that don't like to hang out in CLI anymore then we have to so this is a day of rejoicing for all of us.

Pandora has finally made their HTML5 interface available to everyone, and to use it, all you have to do is go to <a href="http://www.pandora.com">pandora.com</a> and log in like you normally would.

If you are wondering, "well great, what does it mean for me though?" the answer is simple Pandora no longer depends on flash, which is awesome, flash is buggy and horrible on Ubuntu (and in general). <p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.2buntu.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/pandora1.jpg"><img src="http://www.2buntu.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/pandora1-300x168.jpg" /> </a><em>(Sorry about the Windows 8 Screenshot, I currently do not have Ubuntu installed, and being a Windows IT </em><em>person</em><em>I like to test the latest and greatest from time to time, even if it is a MS product)</em></p> Drop me a comment and let me know if you have tried the new interface, and what you think of it.
