0 A.D - Empires Ascendant, arguably the best freely available RTS game available on Linux (or any platform) needs your help to take it to the next level.

Their on-going IndieGoGo campaign is currently at $15, 057 at the time of writing. The stated goal is 160 000, and will go toward finishing and polishing the game for its first official stable release. As it stands, 0 A.D. still needs some serious optimizations to make it at least as playable as the competition (Warzone 2100, Age Of Empires 3, Rise of Nations), all of which may be played for hours on end without serious lag. Unlike the Ubuntu Edge campaign, this campaign is humble enough to make it. It just needs you!
