This is a question that's left to be answered by both Canonical and the Ubuntu Touch community: What will happen after the Ubuntu Edge campaign failed (well, it failed in terms of reaching it's goal, but I will consider it successful)?

Ubuntu Touch is growing better and better. Jono Bacon, Canonical Ubuntu community manager, clearly re-emphasized the goals for the Ubuntu Touch team to release a 1.0 release sooner or later. Canonical has arised interest from different stakeholders (even Bloomberg, I'm surprised) using the Ubuntu Edge campaign. Mark Shuttleworth did say in a video interview they are proposing for different devices pre-installed with Ubuntu Touch sooner or later.

But for now, no Edge :(
