As the release date for Ubuntu 12.04.2 and Kubuntu 13.04 Alpha 2 draws near, it is time to get these images tested!

Go to the ISO QA Tracker and select either Precise 12.04.1 or Raring Alpha 2 to start testing images!!!

There were and are some sessions to help you started:

11th February, 2013 (Monday) 18:00-19:00 UTC Nicholas Skaggs (balloons) was at #ubuntu-quality on irc.freenode.net and also on Ubuntu on Air! to demonstrate the process of going through the testcases. The Google+ Hangout video is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOkbMiyJIbI

13th February, 2013 (Wednesday) 13:00-15:00 UTC Howard Chan (smartboyhw, aka me) will be at #ubuntu-classroom and #ubuntu-classroom-chat on irc.freenode.net to host the finale of a series of QA Team Classroom sessions. It will be about ISO testing, and I will demonstrate how to test the 12.04.2 and the 13.04 Alpha 2 images. Nicholas, Phill Whiteside (phillw) and others will also be on #ubuntu-classroom-chat to answer questions from the community.

14th February, 2013 (Thursday) Ubuntu 12.04.2 and Kubuntu 13.04 Alpha 2 release day 14:00-15:00 UTC Nicholas will be at #ubuntu-quality to help everybody submit their test results up to the QA Trackers. Everyone try to be at the Ubuntu QA Team IRC channels on that time, since final testing of 12.04.2 and 13.04 Alpha 2 should be on that time.

Just a friendly reminder: Lubuntu would not be having a 12.04.2 release since they are not an LTS release. Only Kubuntu will have an Alpha 2. Edubuntu quit having Alpha 2 at the last moment.

Happy time testing!

Regards, smartboyhw
