I've got to admit, I'm not a huge KDE fan since I got accustomed to Gnome/GTK/Unity, but, as of 4.10, things may just be changing. From the changes in animations, to the wonderful adjustments to the default theme, to even the default wallpaper, KDE 4.10 is looking like something I can live with again.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone, and trust me, it will get rave reviews from me when it's final. Furthermore, look out for a series of articles for me on KDE and the other modern Desktop Environments and Window Managers available on Linux. (Engadget, I haven't forgotten).
